Reduce the file size of a WebP image
WebP is already designed to produce lightweight images, but some files are still larger than necessary. PourQui recompresses the image directly on your device and also lets you reduce its dimensions by percentage while preserving transparency when present.
Maximum quality
Light compression to stay very close to the original image. The savings may be small if the WebP was already very well optimized.

The setting applied automatically. It aims for a good balance between file size and visual quality for everyday images.

Resizing can greatly reduce file size
At 100%, the image keeps its original dimensions. The 90%, 75%, 50% and 25% options reduce width and height by the same proportion. A large WebP image can therefore become much lighter if it is intended for on-screen display or sending in a message.
Why optimize a WebP image?
WebP is often already lighter than older formats, but an image can still be too large if it has large dimensions or very high quality. Optimization can reduce its file size further to speed up a website, make sharing easier or save storage space.

Are animated WebP images supported?
No. This optimizer is designed for static WebP images. Animated WebP files are detected and are not processed, so their animation is not removed.
