Portrait format works well when most photos are vertical or when the collage is meant to be printed like a standard page. Landscape format is often better suited to horizontal photos and wider compositions. The tool automatically arranges the images in the selected format without distorting them.

Why are some photos cropped?
Photos can have very different aspect ratios. To fill each frame neatly without distorting the image, the tool automatically crops the edges when necessary.
Can I change the layout?
Yes. The “Shuffle layout” button creates a new arrangement using the same photos without deleting them.
